It makes plenty of sense to pluck the petals off a dandelion if one wants to solve a difficult question. But does it make sense
to sew the petals back on if you haven’t received the answer you were looking for? It’s this hunger after meaning that the
video “long life pestering” revolves around, like a blind man that suddenly can see – the video is recorded and edited as if
one with sight has suddenly become blind...
As a matter of fact I wanted to make a video about a chair, where a cloud was sitting and raining on the seat. After a while
the cloud decides to go somewhere else and rain, and then someone or other sits on the wet chair and gets a wet behind
and then goes off somewhere else.
But then I had an idea about a sun, that showed up at the most inappropriate places, about someone counting steps on a
stairs, about a piece of paper that becomes filled with sunshine and a sundial comparing the word stupid.
The idea was, and is, to answer the question of what is important when you have to piss like a carton of milk with a hole in it. |
