I make use of all media in my artistic practice. At the moment,
sculpture and drawing is at the forefront despite video being a
constant element in my production. I am interested in how we
understand and recognize the world: Contrasts and different types
of essences. Humor appeals to me.

"Tales for a boardroom"

Imported narratives from other milieu wedge themselves in, activating
the boardrooms character. The telling springs from the idea of what is
important in a space that produces decisions resulting in actions that
have consequences for those outside the boardrooms sphere. The
work concentrates on the meaning of ritual, rules of the game and
secretively, status and power.

A computer animated film about jealousy and the desire to control
love. Drawn with a naive line easily associated with the drawings
of a teenage-girl.

"Composer"
To be shown on a PC.
The Composer contain 5 compositions / executable files, where the
sound works are created in a randomized order. The colored squares
are the visualizations of this process, where each square represents a
sound. When two equal squares collide, there will be a third sound and
numerous other actions will also take place. The sound sources are
based on extracts of self-produced sound files. |
