Pauluk Kanavalchyk
Born 08.08.1974 in Minsk. 1991-1996: Belarusian Economy State University. Since 1996 actively involved in D.I.Y. publishing. 1998-2003: co-founder and editor-in-chief of youth political satyrical newspaper “Navinki” (in May 2003 closed by the Ministry of Information of Belarus, charged with “insulting the honour and dignity of the President of Belarus”). 2001:member of the “Navinki” filmmaking crew, working on its 1st full-meter movie “It Happened to a Lad”, founder of the “Navinki Home Video” studio. Since 2003: Indie video experiments, video comics, short productions; director of the “Navinki Home Video” studio. 2005 - time being: working on the full meter fiction project with the working title “Only The Dead Fear Nothing”: producer, featuring, film editor. 2006: short-meter video comics “Goodbye, Batska!”; film director and producer. 2007: Shooting of the next short-meter film “The State Fundamentals”; film director and producer.

Born 23.10.1981 in Minsk. 1998-2003: Belarusian State University. 2002-2003: Experiments with analogous photography; participant of the different photo exhibitions . 2003-2005: Belarusian Art Academy, Design and Applied Art department, photo and graphic arts; free-lance photo correspondent and reporter . 2005 - time being: collaborator of the “Navinki Home Video” studio, working on the full meter fiction project with the working title “Only The Dead Fear Nothing”: stage manager, film editor. 2006: Short-meter video comics “Goodbye, Batska!”; camera, editing and cutting. 2007: Shooting of the next short-meter film “The State Fundamentals”; camera, editing and cutting. |
