ABSTRACT: According some impressive documentaries as well as staged examples on film, Grünfelder will deduce the term media from being able to overcome semiologic and traumatic difference. The reflection on film shows in practical way the difference
to cope with, while the Media itself apparently don’t depend on these differences. Corresponding to Kants Geisterseher and the Freudian Trauma disappearance is a mode in term of difference of one and the other – the virtual is a step ahead and finally the occult is a field for the mediumistic talent. With excerps of The Last Stand (2006), X-Men III, Escamotage d'une dame au théâtre Robert Houdin (1896), Georges Melies, [desi're:] – the Goldstein reels (2005), Poltergeist case Karli (1974) TV documentary, and some UFO-case studies.
