My field of work is the creation of statements that communicate. Thematically I centre around trivial everyday problems, existential and socially related issues. The power of art – as opposed to other areas – is that it is independent (of course= the ideal situation), which is why it can criticise and operate freely with regard to a given theme.
It is not my intention to act as thought police, to moralise or agitate. It is my intention to problematise and point out paradoxical, grotesque and absurd issues.
I use drawing, performance, sculpture and blogging as my artistic tools.
Furthermore, I have my own publishing company – forlaget dada-invest – where I publish my own books and pamphlets, as well as the series ‘Elefantsæbe (skal tisse)’, where I work with other artists.
