As we can’t turn back time, we need to accept that some things get lost forever. I’ve we don’t it might consume us. In this film from 2008 I experimented with non-linear storytelling by creating often times surreal images that works on an emotional level rather than a logical.

“Rain or Something” (2010)
Duration: 8’32”
Rain in the backyard, a girl sitting by the window and looking pensively out into the darkness. Her face is only seen in the reflection of the dark window mirror. Her thoughts and feelings pass by her mind's eye in the form of clouds, rain and snow scenes. Raindrops and snow turn into pink cherry blossoms
and escort the protagonist to an empty shed, where she seems to meet herself. Her fear dissolves in playful interaction with the snow flakes and cherry blossoms and her mind opens to unknown parts of the personality. The sound consists of intense rain noise and cello sounds and then a shy voice sings a song by Ms. John Soda "hiding, fading ...".

A movie about the relationship between a mother and her child. Beautiful and lively holiday memories turn into dull ambience. Subtly the movie developes an eerie atmosphere and lets the audience feel that something horrible has
happened.
