This video work reflects the contradictions that we have in Turkey as “the distinction between the east and the west, the upper class and the lower class, the street language and the ideological language” by a recreated duet of a familiar song. It is going on between a blind old man who tries to gather money for the Braille Foundation and a singer having a concert on television. The differ-ence between their styles shows us the contradictions in the society. |
